Pricing

Hauler provides a comprehensive pricing module for roll-off dumpster rentals, designed to accommodate the variable costs associated with delivery, swap, pickup, and other additional services.

Pricing is Size Dependent and can have Additional Fees. Hauler gives you optional Adjustments to handle more complex scenarios if your business requires it.

Prices can be set on a per-Customer, per-Location, and per-Haul basis for added flexibility.

Size Dependent Pricing

Costs are determined by the size of the dumpster, with each size having a set fee for delivery, swap, and pickup services.

Base Prices

Per-Haul Charges

Set default base pricing for each of your container sizes using common industry metrics. These charges will be used as the default when a Haul occurs, based upon the Haul type.

Delivery $ Swap $ Pickup $ (Final) Live Load $

Variable Charges

Tonnage Allowance: Tons Allowed Additional $/Ton
Rental Period: Days Allowed Additional $/Day
  • Tonnage Allowance: Each size has an allowable tonnage limit, with additional fees per ton if the limit is exceeded.
  • Rental Period: Prices include a specific number of days for the rental, with additional costs per extra day.
    • The start date is determined by the Delivery date of the container, and the end date by the Swap or Pickup date of the container.

Adjustments

  • Location-Based Adjustments: Set price adjustments based upon one or more cities. When a Haul is created for a Location, Hauler will reference that Location's address against the pricing table and default to the modified pricing. This reflects the logistical costs associated with different locations.
  • VIP Customer Adjustments: Users can apply specific price adjustments for repeat or special customers, which can be easily referenced when setting up new customers, locations, or hauls.
  • Customer Specific Pricing: You can set specific pricing for your Customer and easily reference that price on a Location or Haul tied to the Customer.

Additional Fees

Empower your Office and Driver workers to note additional charges that should be passed through to the customer with custom fees you create and control.

Manage Additional Fees here.

Additional Fees are set by an Administrator user, and are made up of a Name, a Price, and a toggle that allows Drivers to add these fees to a Haul.

Fees marked as "Driver Add" are available for Drivers to select on any Haul.

Drivers will not see the Price of the fee.

Users can test the pricing adjustments before finalizing them to ensure accuracy and run through different scenarios.
