Setup Integrations

Setup Integrations is where you connect QuickBooks Online and the payment gateway. Connect QuickBooks Online for accounting. If you use Standard Invoicing, add a Payment Gateway so customers can pay with Hauler Pay.

Connect QuickBooks Online

  1. Go to Admin > Integrations.
  2. Select Connect to Quickbooks.
  3. Complete the QuickBooks Online authentication and authorize Hauler.

Required settings in QuickBooks Online

Turn Custom Transaction Numbers off before you invoice. Leaving it on can cause sync errors.

  1. Open the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Your Company > Account and Settings.
  3. Open Sales.
  4. Under Sales Form Content, find Custom Transaction Numbers.
  5. Set the Custom Transaction Number switch to off .

Payment Gateway / Hauler Pay

Hauler Pay is the payment gateway for Standard Invoicing. Customers pay from a hosted link after you send the invoice.

  1. Go to Admin > Integrations > Payment Gateway.
  2. Work through Welcome, Legal Entity, Account Holder, and Verification.
  3. Select Proceed to Create Legal Entity when the app shows it.
  4. Finish remaining verification on Adyen's site.
