Hauls
A haul is a scheduled delivery, pickup, swap, or other Container move. Create it on Hauls, assign a driver from Dispatch, and the driver completes it in the field.
Haul types are Delivery, Pickup, Swap, Roundtrip, Liveload, and Other.
Status values are Draft, Scheduled, In Process, Completed, and Canceled.
Use Draft while you are still setting up the Haul details.
- Hauls is the list of haul records. You can edit them here across all Customers and days.
- Dispatch is one day's board of hauls and tasks. Assign drivers there, using a Board (Kanban), List, or Map
- Recurring are repeating haul templates.
- Routes is used for a series of stops, typically along a commercial front-or-rear-end load route. Stops on a route are Services. These are separate from point-to-point Hauls and Tasks.
- Routes can be shown as a card and assigned to a Driver on the Dispatch board.
If Admin still shows Dumpsters, you are on Legacy Inventory. Size fields are Set Size and Pull Size. If Admin shows Containers, you are on Standard Inventory. Hauls use Container. Individual inventory also has Set Container and Pull Container. Teams with more than one yard may see Return Yard.
After creating a haul, you should assign it to a Driver. Assign from Dispatch.
