Put a container in maintenance
Put a container in maintenance when it should not go out on a haul. On Standard Inventory, In maintenance is a status chip.
These steps are for Standard Inventory. If Admin still shows Dumpsters, you are on Legacy Inventory.
- Go to Admin → Inventory Method. Confirm Standard Inventory is marked Active.
- Go to Admin → Containers.
- Find the container. Filter by Status, Type, Size, and Facility if you need to. Status chips: Available, In service, At customer site, In maintenance.
- Select Maintenance on the container.
- Confirm the chip shows In maintenance.
Use Edit to change the container, or Archive container if it should leave the fleet. Select Show Archived to see archived containers.
A container in maintenance is not available to drivers. On Pooled, Start Haul allocates an available can, not one in maintenance.
