Read Yard Inventory
Yard Inventory shows where containers are: at a facility, in transit, or at a customer location. The sidebar still says Inventory. The page is Yard Inventory.
This is a live count of the fleet. Add and edit containers under Admin → Containers, not on this page.
- Select Inventory in the sidebar. The page title is Yard Inventory.
- Pooled: read Bucket, Total, At Facility, In Transit, and At Location. Empty copy: No containers in inventory.
- Individual: read At Facility, In Transit, and At Location.
At Facility is cans at a yard. In Transit is cans on an active haul. At Location is cans at a customer site.
Pooled vs Individual only changes how the page is shown. Switching it never moves a container.
What does not
- The sidebar label does not change to Containers.
- Legacy Yard Inventory still has a Dumpsters section and Add Dumpster. That is the page you see before you convert.
