Sync invoices to QuickBooks

On Standard Invoicing, invoices and Adyen payments can sync to QuickBooks Online. You can turn on automatic sync, and you can still sync a single invoice by hand.

You need QuickBooks Online connected. See Setup Integrations.

Turn on automatic sync

  1. Go to Admin → Invoicing Method.
  2. Confirm you are on Standard Invoicing and that QuickBooks Online is connected.
  3. Turn on Automatically sync Standard Invoices to QuickBooks Online. Help text: When enabled, invoices will automatically create in QBO when their status changes to 'Sent'. Manual sync is always available.
  4. Optionally turn on Automatically sync Adyen Payments to QuickBooks Online.
  5. Click Save.

Sync one invoice

  1. Open the invoice in Invoicing.
  2. Click Sync to QBO, or Update QBO if it already exists in QuickBooks.

With automatic invoice sync on, Hauler creates the invoice in QBO when the status changes to Sent. Manual Sync to QBO / Update QBO stays available either way.

Manual via QBO is a different method. That path copies data from Hauler to QuickBooks Online, and changes do not sync automatically after you create the invoice there. This is not the same as Standard Inventory.
