Create a credit from an invoice
Use Create credit from this invoice when you owe the customer money back on that bill. Credits live under Billing, next to Invoicing. You need Standard Invoicing.
- Open the invoice in Invoicing.
- Click Create credit from this invoice.
- Open Credits in the Billing sidebar to find it after you save.
You can also open Credits directly from the sidebar. If you can update credit memo settings, Admin includes Credits, with General and Message Template.
Creating a credit does not void the invoice. Void Invoice is a separate action. Credits is not a Discovery vendor-invoice workflow. This is Hauler client billing.
