Send an invoice by SMS
Text an approved invoice to the customer. Send via SMS issues the invoice and creates the payment link. There is no create-link-only step. Quotes do not send by SMS.
You need Standard Invoicing and a payment gateway.
- Open Invoicing and open the invoice.
- Click Approve if the invoice is still a draft.
- Click Send via SMS.
The status moves to Sent. View Payment Details shows the QR code, Payment Page URL, Open, and Expires.
Send via Email also issues the invoice and creates the payment link. Use email when you want the Send Invoice Email form.
If the customer already has an expired link, click Reissue Payment Link, then Send via SMS again. See Payment failed or pay link expired.
